The icon with a particle of the relics of St. Vladimir was brought from Ukraine and donated to the church of St. John the Forerunner at Sheepshead Bay.

The relics of St. Vladimir has a specially fertile power to heal eye diseases, back pain and joint pain, disease, oncology, gaining strength for childbearing to women and men, returning of hearing and, most importantly, help to find peace of mind.
