People of Rus always loved and respected the sanctity of God’s saints. The memory of the holy fathers who labored in the Kyiv-Pechersk monastery was honored especially. On 23 June Church remembers the memory of St. Silouan the Skhimnik of Kyiv Caves, who labored in XIII-XIV centuries.

On 22 of June the Church celebrates the memory of sts. Martyrs Thecla, Martha and Maria, St Alexander of Kushta, St. Alexis of Moscow.

According to Ecclesial calendar on 16 June the memory of St. Wonderworker Athanasius of Bithynia is celebrated. In the literature he also called Athanasius of Trajan or Athanasius of Sicily.

Day of Remembrance of the St. Raphael of Brooklyn celebrates by the Church on 27 February.

15 June is the Remembrance Day of St. Oda of Canterbury.
